Mr. Anderson holds a bachelor’s degree in both Psychology (cognitive research focus) and Political Science and later received a Master’s Degree in Public Affairs with a Business concentration.  He has completed Levels I, II, and III of the Market Technician’s Association’s Chartered Market Technician (CMT) program and is awaiting the official charter in early 2009.

He started investing in 1998, having built many years of experience through the 2000 stock market bubble, the 2000 stock market crash, the lead-up to the financial crisis, he accurately predicted/warned about the 2007 and 2008 crash (on the open blog and in his investments), he was correct all through 2008, and eventually he publically called the bottom in 2009.

He has been a public speaker and educator since 2009 to 2015 and have spoken at dozens of financial conferences including the World Money Show, International Traders Expo, Market Technician's Association, and many more private investment clubs or groups.

He has written a featured book "The Complete Trading Course" published by Wiley in 2011 and also "The Life Cycle of a Stock Move" released in 2013 (course)

He has traded in just about every market condition over the last 15 years and have actively traded stocks, ETFs, futures, commodities (futures and ETFs), and options.
